More recently, YouTube tested livestreamed shopping with a one-day shopping event focused on small businesses.

It said it would roll out to more creators over the course of 2021. That feature was designed only for on-demand videos, and allowed viewers to tap into the “credibility and knowledge” of trusted creators in order to make informed purchases, the company explained at the time. The feature will initially launch with just a handful of creators and brands, the company says, and is an expansion of the integrated shopping experience YouTube began beta testing earlier this year.

It's very visible it dark scenes, but disappears in colorful scenes.YouTube will begin pilot testing a new feature that will allow viewers to shop for products directly from livestream videos. No help, seem like the red-sub pixel is stuck on. I've tried very thoroughly cleaning the screen. You didn't sell your old one on ebay to someone in Vancouver did you? If so, looks like I have it now, haha. I bought it off craigslist, but it looks like it's an original from the kickstarter. Red Pixel, stuck in the middle of the left eye. Hey, did you ever find any solution to this? I have what seems to be the exact same thing. I am sure other people out there had the same problem, so.how did you fix yours? Sending back to oculus is out of the question. It`s right on the middle of the left eye, a frined of mine has it on the same spot, apparently it`s a production issue. I`ve tried every method I know of: running rapid-changing color videos, cleaning the screen (removing dirt, but it really is a dead pixel) and putting a little pressure as it turns on.

Sending it back for replacement is not a very attractive option for me because I live in Costa Rica and shipping plus import taxes (they charge you even if it's a warranty exchange or a gift) would take a while and cost quite a bit. What's your experience fixing stuck pixels on the Rift LCD? What settings do you recommend (e.g. The stuck pixel clearly looks blue, and if it were dust I don't see how it would be able to make something look blue if the background is black.

I've seen tiny specks of dust on other places of the screen and they just look gray when displaying a black background. No matter what I do, it's always a tiny blue speck, which I suppose is the blue subpixel on one of the pixels. I really think it's a stuck pixel, since I tried blowing air at it, tapping it with a plastic tip, and rubbing it gently with a Lenspen ( ). If it does turn out to be dead pixels, contact and we may be able to help. You can also try to fix it yourself like with this: So please, wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth, or use a can of compressed air. We've had that happen a few times where people thought it was dead pixels and it turnout out to be dust.
